Frequently asked questions
Is it really free? What's the catch?
No catch: the whole app is free, ad-free and has no paid plans, including sync and sharing with your family. The server costs money, and we pay for it with the coffees people choose to buy us. If one day we couldn't keep it running, your data stays on your devices.
What happens to my data if you shut down or I close my account?
Nothing: the primary copy of your data lives on your devices, not on our servers. You can also export everything to a file at any time.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Today: Android (APK) and any modern browser. iOS is on the roadmap.
How are Wi-Fi passwords shared?
Encrypted on the server and shown only when someone asks (“tap to reveal”). People in your home can see them; nobody else.
